The people who see auras see them in the form of a body of light surrounding the object. This body of light has been successfully photographed using the popular Kirilian photography technique.

After careful analysis and deep study of the Aura, it has been found that there are several types of Auras. Briefly, they are:

The Etheric Aura:
This is seen as a grayish-blue or grayish-white light covering the entire body. At first sight, one may feel as if this is a space between the body and the actual aura. But it is not so. The etheric aura looks almost like the extension of the physical body. This aura is about 0.25 to 1 inch out from the body. This aura reflects the state of physical wellness of the body. This aura also reflects the states of pain and pleasure in the body.

The Mental Aura:
This is a yellow colored aura that extends to about 4-8 inches from the body. This aura is a depiction of the thinking and thought processes of the person. The more active the thoughts, the more bright yellow this aura becomes. Often, many thought forms can be found within this aura.

The Inner Aura:
This is a halo of colors that is approximately 2-4 inches wide. This also covers the entire body and often the energy and colors in this aura appear to be swirling. This aura is not so easily visible with the naked eye. It reflects the feelings and emotions of the physical body. This aura, is therefore, very versatile and variable. Its colors can change moment to moment. These colors are also known to be affected by the colors of the clothes that a person wears. For example, wearing blue clothes can tend to flood the aura with a yellow color.

The Outer Aura:
This is an egg shaped energy field that encompasses the Inner Aura. It is approximately 10-18 inches in width. This aura also contains energy and colors that appear to be in motion. This aura contains information about several aspects of the physical body such as thoughts, feelings, actions, and the mental activity of the person.

The Higher Mental Aura:
This is a magnificent glow which is primarily yellow in color. Some say that this is actually the halo that most people see in the paintings of saints. This aura contains the information about the soul’s journey in this life. It shows what essential experiences the soul will undergo in this life so as to follow the cosmic plan of birth and death, with regard to the current life.

The Spiritual Aura:
This is a clear light which is sometimes surrounded by a layer of pale blue light. Often, rays of yellow light are seen emanating from this aura. This layer is said to contain the information from the person’s past lives, karmic records of his soul’s journey in this life which encompass the past, present and the future. This aura is also called the bridge between the physical world and the spiritual realm.
